I've tried a few of these Memory Stick Pro Duo cards, but this was the worst of the group. Initially, this card wouldn't work at all. In my external card reader, my old Sony Vaio, or any of my PSPs, I couldn't get this card to read at all. At best, I could get an activity light to rapidly blink on the device when it tried to read, but nothing more than that.After a few weeks, I tried it again. Surprise! Now it works! It read like any other memory card that I have, showing 8GB remaining (the perfect size for some PSP games that sometimes won't read larger cards). It worked quickly, saving and loading. It couldn't have been easier! Suddenly, all of the compatibility issues were gone.And then it stopped again 15 minutes later.Honestly, it is one of the worst memory cards I have ever used. Even if it still worked after all of the hassle and weeks of letting it ruminate on its inactions, I wouldn't recommend it. It seems, at best, unreliable, and not worth the money.

Chip works fine with the older sony cameras, that’s exactly what I was looking for! I also read that the 4/8 GB chips are a safer choice for the sony cameras, and thus ordered the 8 GB chip.

This memory stick worked exactly as I expected without any issues at all. I didn't measure any speeds however, it functioned similar to other memory sticks I have/use often so I am happy with it.
