I agree with the other reviewer that gave this 3 stars - It works fine, but I didn't expect the cologne scent. It's a clear gel that dries matte quickly. The tube had a foil seal.

I got this for my husband to use when shaving. I don't know if it was the strong fragrance or some other ingredient, but he wound up with a terrible, inflamed rash. He had to use a lot of hydrocortisone to get it to calm down. I wasn't interested in trying it myself after that, so this skin repair gel is a no from us.

I have been using this product for years. I use it after I shave or shower, and at night. It is light, but hydrating. It isn't greasy. My skin feels better after having it on. I'm a big fan of this product.

Seems to be also help those tiny growing under arm hairs from feeling too prickly. Really helped with minor razer burns. So far I really love this product, a bit pricy but it is helping me so far.

This is a very effective repair gel that works great for me after shaving or just to soothe irritated or inflamed skin. I have dry, sensitive skin and get razor burn quite easily. This gel seems targeted more toward those with oily skin, but the product description does say it works on all skin types so I thought I would give it a try. It is light-weight and goes on easily -- as a gel, it feels cooling and it also immediately soothes any irritation. It is absorbed quickly and doesn't feel tacky or leave a residue. I use it on my face once every week or two -- just the t-zone after using a mask or scrub. My main reason for ordering this is to use it after shaving my legs but I have also applied it to my upper arms as I have a touch of keratosis pilaris. KP is a real problem for me during the colder months of the year, but right now my skin is mostly smooth and this gel quickly takes care of any little bumps that happen to appear. I think this will be great next winter when all of the bumps come back. Just a little goes a long way when using this. The first time I used it, I put a dime-sized dollop in my palm which was more than enough for both legs. The current price of $42.30 is fairly high if using this as a body product, but it is well formulated and very versatile + it works so well for my skin. The only thing I don't care for is the rather strong scent (not a natural fragrance from the ingredients, but an added Parfum).
