I use other Kast King products (bait knife and pliers) and love them, so I thought that I'd try Kast King again. This yellow fishing line is a great value and was needed for some blue gills and small bass in the pond by my house. Smooth casting on my spinning reel with no memory. Was able to tie a knot effortlessly. The yellow color is easy for me to see but blends in the water perfect for the fishies. Caught a few blue gills immediately until the rain came and cancelled my outing...lol. Looking forward to using this line some more.

I stumbled across this line last year and as a fan of KastKing products, I had to try it. I primarily ultralight fish, so I've purchased three spools in 4 and 6lb, in clear and high vis.The main thing I love about this line is how thin it is for it's weight rating, and how supple and memory-free it is. The 4lb will rocket extremely light lures with ease. The high vis is extremely high vis, due to the line not being transparent, it really sticks out. If you like the visibility of high vis braid but don't like using braid, here you go.The two spools of high vis line I've had no issues with, they're holding up well. I use them as my main line and the clear as my leader on those reels. For a while this worked well. Then problems started.A couple days ago I was fishing, I had my favorite spoon tied on and when I cast, the spoon flew into oblivion. I looked at my line and saw that it was significantly frayed, six inches so up to the point that it broke. I thought that I had rubbed the line on something and not realized it. I was sad that I lost my favorite spoon (I've ordered another so it's fine), but there's always more tackle, so I retied. I cut off the leader, took off another four feet or so of the clear tripolymer and tied on a new leader. Just a handful of casts later and same thing. Lure flies off into the nether. I look again, same thing. The line had significantly frayed several inches up until the point where it broke. Well that sucks. I pulled off another few feet off the spool, gave it some test stretches, and the line self-destructs, coming apart in a manner I've never seen any line come apart before.3 stars because that spool may have been a fluke. Both high vis lines seem to be doing fine. This line was from deep within the spool, getting near the end. I do have two reels fully spooled with the clear tripolymer, but I haven't used them yet. I hope all that line isn't bad as well.

This is the best line I have every used. No curls from the spinning reel and very strong. Kinda tough to tie knots in but since it is my first use of line other than filament, the knot issue is likely me.

what a nice line, is strong and no memory easy to cast and 2 lb test I been able to land different size fishing in the lake even bass of 2 to 4 lbs, great product I'm glad I found it and will continue to buy.

The media could not be loaded. This line delivers outstanding performance. Its camo design blends into the water, reducing line visibility and increasing bites in clear or pressured conditions. The tri-polymer construction adds durability, abrasion resistance, and smooth casting, making it ideal for both spinning and baitcasting setups. Knot strength is excellent. A great choice for targeting crappie and other panfish.

On the plus side:Very strong, great distance on casting, low visibility in the water.On the negative side:I experienced some line twists on my casting rod. I will try it on my baitcaster to see if it works better on that.Overall:A good choice for many fishing situations. If you don't have a bunch of rods to spool up with different lines, this is a good choice.
