This tote surprised me in how well made it was. It has a velcro false bottom you can install that keeps the lunch box area open but you can then put items into the bag using that extra piece. Its removeable if you want the entirety of the tote space and to have the lunch box portion tucked to the side. The straps are ones that there is enough room to easily get your elbow through and over your arm. The strap has a thickness that is more comfortable than some straps. I was pleased with the fabric - it's like nylon but not overly shiny and cheap looking.
