Materials were good quality. The front opening is adjustable. I didn't like the fit for my 6 yr old daughter. I felt like I was trying to fit an adult sized product on her head. I was able to put this on my head (180 lbs male) without issue. I returned for something different for my daughter. Unfortunately I wasn't able to select size as the reason for return, meaning Amazon will not cover return shipping, so I had to eat $5 return shipping charges.

We took our 4 kids on their first ski trip back in April and got one of these for each of them. I was worried they would either be too big for our tiny 3 year old or too small for our big 12 year old. These fit all 4 of our kids (ages 3, 6, 8, and 12) great!! They each wanted to wear them every day, some days with the hood up and some with the hood around their necks. Goggles and ski helmets fit well over them. They kept them warm and protected from the sun. I recommend these for every ski kid!!

My daughter has had issues with frostbite on her face so I purchased this in purple hoping that she would wear it. I am happy to say that she really liked it and will use if for outdoor activities again. The design is flexible for covering up to eyes for colder temps and wind but can also be lowered for most other winter days. Great quality, thicker material but it is soft and didn't squish her nose or make it hard to breathe. Good size for big kids, my reference is a 10 year old.

This hat is perfect for kids who want to play in the cold. If your kid likes to pull their hat off a this will prevent it. I love the mask option for nose and mouth- and the warmth is just the right thickness….
