I mostly shop without being “brand-loyal”. Socks are the rare exception. Because of increasing costs, and the fact my small children really don’t yet have winter wool socks (I ended up buying them 4 pairs each), I decided I would branch out and see how non-favorite brands compared. I am happy to say that these have exceeded my expectations! The foot part has the same thicker weight as Smartwools, the ankle part is a little thicker than Smartwools. I machine wash on cold, then throw in the dryer - and they launder without issues. My boys are just about 5 & 8, and I bought the “8-12 years” size for both of them. Their feet are veeeeeery wide (think little hobbit feet), these fit nicely, with room to grown! In the coming years, as long as reviews show that quality continues, and as long as the value is right - I will be reordering as needed

I was on the hunt for socks my 6 year old daughter can put on while wearing her rain boots, warm enough and long enough where the boot wouldn’t touch her actual skin, these were perfect! She wasn’t wanting to wear her rain boots to school because she said she would be cold (which I totally understand ) so I would double her socks or have her wear fuzzy socks but she still wasn’t happy. These were a game changer! I’m glad I got her two packs one in all grey (for uniform) and the colored ones for home use.I will be ordering more for sure! Great material warm thick and durable, again I just received them they held up great with the first wash they didn’t loose shape or shrink or texture. Don’t hesitate to buy!
