We have HP Z2 Mini G3 computers at work. We've had these little workhorses for probably 5 years now. I love mine, and have never had a problem with it. But I'm going to be retiring in a few months, and wanted a similar computer at home. My home computer was over 10 years old (an eMachine) and was SOOOO SLLLOOWWW that it was painful. I bought this new G9. I've only used it 2 or 3 times so far at home, but, so far, I'm just as happy with it as I am with my work computer. It's as fast as I need it to be (I'm not a gamer), and it does what I need. I have a removable DVD drive that I can add via USB if I need it. (My first computer had the old 5-1/2" floppy drive!) I love that it's so small... it takes up barely any room on my desk. I think it was a good value at around $600. I clicked a coupon when I ordered, and saved $130.It was easy to set up. I have a 19" Samsung TV that I am using as a monitor, connected via the HDMI connector. The monitor from my previous computer had a VGA connector, which must be obsolete now. I know I can buy a VGA to USB connector, but I'd have to connect the old sound bar too. So the TV as a monitor works great... sound is included! I have it directly connected to the router by an Ethernet cable, but I could connect it via Bluetooth if I choose to. I already had the cable from my previous computer, so why not use it?

It’s fast, takes up very little space…everything connects easily even my 2 monitors. I could not find any stores stocking any computers that I needed..they were all gaming units and very expensiveCheaper than what I could of ordered in town.

Purchased this for a remote user. Very high quality and performance in a small package. Great for office work, extremely compatible with MS365 products. Can be hidden anywhere within the desk space, easily powers dual monitors setup, and can handle developer consoles with no issue.
