Good system, a bit slow, but not bad at all

This model does not work with AM stations. I was told by JVC Customer support supervisor that you must purchase an antenna booster to receive AM stations, even though I am in a large city with very strong AM stations. I could not find anywhere in the description that mentions this. The supervisor told me more expensive model work receive AM stations just fine.
