Don’t listen the old reviews that said these had very low volume! That has been fixed ... they don’t! I’ve been replacing my 24 year old 5.1 system with the sound touch 300 system. It literally blows the old Bose away! Don’t get me wrong, the old one still sounds good, but this ‘is just that much better. As far as these rear speakers go, great room filling sound, ambient noises come to life, and it truly brings the going to the movies experience home... absent the sticky floor.... hum... the only somewhat negative I have is they are not “truly” wireless. As in the have a quite large power brick/receiver/amplifier that they are wired to. So don’t think you just stick these to the wall. I guess battery power is still not up to this challenge. But that is only a minor negative, it is still a lot fewer and shorter wires to run. I find the sound quality great. It’s typical Bose, there are some haters, but for me it’s premium. I’ve been a Bose fanboy for about 25 years, this product is retaining my support. The amazon shipping was as always outstanding, I ordered this on Saturday, it arrived on Monday. Wow.

Great little speakers when added to existing soundbar

I purchase the SoundTouch soundbar 300 and the bass module a year ago. Wanted to wait to buy these surround speakers. Should have bought them right away. Easy to set up and they add a depth to the sound in the room. Caveat. They must be set up correctly (paired with the soundbar and bass module) to sound good.

Bose is number one cannot compare with any other brand, worth every penny, use them with Soundbar 300 and Acoustimass 300 Sub and can't believe the 5.1 contents watching on Netflix and Amazon, even the same movie have watched before is totally different watching with amazing surround sound.Go for it if you are looking for a prime sound system for your TV.

The rear SS speakers work great for me. Using them with the entire ensemble i.e. sound bar 300 & bass module 300. Some people complain of the read speakers having poor or low sound. Once I had the Bose 300 ensemble connected I ran the audio calibration and the rear speakers came to life. That audio calibration process apparently sets the volume for the rear speakers. After running the audio calibration the rear SS speakers were plenty loud enough, distinctive, completing the SS experience. So for those complaining of SS rear speakers having too low of sound I suggest the audio calibration is the key to fixing that. Certainly the SS rear speakers are plenty loud enough on their own, so be sure to run the calibration setup. On youtube I came across an SS speaker test video and when playing that test video the rear SS speakers were plenty loud. So don't worry the rear speakers are fine. Just do or if necessary re-do the audio calibration part. After I did that my entire SS experience really came to life. Quite a big difference from what you hear before the calibration and after the calibration. The calibration brings the experience to life, sets the speaker volume(s), then the rear SS speakers are more than effective. So nothing is wrong or flawed with these rear SS speakers. Simply do the calibration which is the secret for proper rear SS speaker and entire system operation.PS. Should note that I use this BOSE 300 system with the new Samsung "Frame" TV. This Bose 300 system works great with the Samsung and I have had no disconnects or any issues at all. A few others have complained of the Bose system losing connection with the TV on Samsung, I have never had that problem. I find the two work great together. Some people.... complaints... go figure.

Ahondar en la calidad de los productos Bose es destacar que cada uno de sus productos destinados a la escucha de música o sonido en home theater destaca por una manufactura y sonido excelente. En el caso de estas bocinas, es soprendente el sonido ambiental que agregan cuando la fuente de sonido (CD, musica en streaming, Blu-Ray) proviene de una buena fuente.He probado estas bocinas con la barra de sonido Soundbar 300 y el subwoofer Acoustimass 300 para crear un sonido 5.1 con una película 4K y el sonido es soberbio. Este equipo no esta preparado para sonido Atmos. La distorsión del sonido simplemente no existe al subir el volumen al máximo. Además, Bose cuenta con una aplicación para moviles llamada Soundtouch con la que puedes subir/bajar el volumen de la barra central para priorizar el sonido, los graves del subwoofer y el sonido de las bocinas satelitales.Es importante destacar que es necesario que esten conectadas al wifi ya que Bose saca actualizaciones de software para mejorar el uso de sus productos. Si lo que quieres es montar tus bocinas en la pared, es necesario adquirir por separado los soportes. En este caso, c/u de los que compré valen 700 pesos.Mi recomendación total para este producto. En especial si ya se cuenta con la barra de sonido Soundbar 300 y el subwoofer Acoustimass 300.

Bocinas de sonido ambiental excelentes, se conectan de manera fácil a la SoundBar 300 con solo abrir la APP de Bose en el móvil y agregar altavoz previamente la barra debe estar dada de alta en la red WIFI y las últimas actualizaciones, una vez prendida tu red WIFI se agregará y podrás usarla de manera cotidiana, tiene bajo consumo eléctrico y cuando apagas la barra estas se quedan en un modo StandBy cuando enciendes la barra también encenderán un par de segundos después.Es un complemente necesario para el sistema de audio en casa, las recomendamos ampliamente, el sonido se disfruta en armonía y con gran fidelidad como se esperaba. Se recomienda ajustar el volumen de las bocinas por sí es muy bajo se puede incrementar desde la APP de Bose (se ajusto a Nivel +4) ya que de un inicio puede ser relativamente moderado.El sonido varia dependiendo la fuente del sonido como sea codificada en general ya todo es moderno en estos tiempos a excepción de fuentes antiguas grabadas en menos canales.

Excelente complemento a la barra de sonido ST300. Se controla el nivel de volumen a través de la app de Bose. El sonido envolvente que se logra con estas bocinas es muy bueno. Ampliamente recomendado.

I have the SoundTouch 300 soundbar and bought the surround speakers to fill out the sound. But they add very little to the listening experience. The audio that comes out is very very low. There is no volume adjustment on the surround speakers themselves. Most of the time, even when watching movies, hbo, showtime, amc, very little is coming out of the surround speakers.The design is also flawed. The speakers themselves are compact but the power source is huge and the wiring is clunky. Bose should have designed a speaker with the power source housed within the cabinet. It would be a bigger cabinet but it would look much cleaner than its current design. And for most people buying this type of speaker that's what we want. A clean looking and self contained unit. The acoustimass subwoofer is beautifully designed but Bose really failed on these.

The area these speakers are in is about 13' 6" wide and 13' long. The room is a lot longer but the rest contains a walkway and a kitchen. They were of course very easy to set up and I had no problem using the headset to pair the speakers using Adaptiq for audio calibration.. I kind of cheated. As i set them by sitting in the two swivel chairs which are about 10' 5" from the far wall kind of in the center of the room and then kneeling close to and between them in slightly different places for all 5 times..The app (I use an iPhone) now has the ability to increase volume for both speakers. Before I got the speakers there was no option. Even after I hooked them up my app did not show any option for rear speakers.. But after I registered them on-line the next day with Bose the option appeared. Now don't hold me to that verbatim as there may have simply been a delay involved after I hooked them up. But that's how I saw it.The speakers are 12' 7" from the far wall at end of the area and their stands are flait against each wall about 4' from the chairs. So they are about 7" further back then the chairs.There are two chairs side by side with a space in between them. The speakers are at a 45 degree angle towards the far wall. After some experience with the rear sound I have set them at +4 for volume. The wires from each speaker to their power/receiver box are about 14 feet long and about 57 inches from the box to the electrical plug.The bass speaker which is set at +2 is against the far wall on the left. About 6" from it as the closer to the wall the more bass you get. The bass unit is also receiving the signal from the sound bar clear through a 75 gallon wooden Aquarium stand loaded with stuff without any problem. The center of the TV is about 8' from the bass unit and is diagonally against the right corner of the far wall. I assume the signal is comming from the soundbar as the wifi light on the soundbar is not lit. It is like pulling teeth to find how it actually communicates with the speakers by googling it.So Im not positive about that.Has great sound. If a plane is on the tv screen and it dives towards the ground you can literally experience it going from one side of the room to the other. Music of course is very good. As are many TV shows designed to produce the correct signal.Picture shows general placement guidelines contained in the on-line printout for the "Virtually Invisible 300 Wireless Surround Speakers".It also mentions that you can mount them with wall brackets,ceiling mounts, floor stands or table stands.
