Throttle cable does not work on top hat, doesn't idle without maxing out pilot jet and runs way to rich. Only reason for 2 stars is most of the internals do swap to a mikuni carb

Trying to replace the carb on my 83 yamaha ytm200ek. The factory throttle fits in it, but the choke does not. They do supply a choke pin, so I swaped it out and the line sat too far down. I had to make a 1/2" spacer to allow it to work. The screws provided were too long as well, factory one fit so I swapped them out. First try it flooded the air filter. So I adjusted the needle on the floats. Second try still flooding. I gave up and will continue later. I was hoping it would just fit and work.

Lasted 6 weeks. Return window closed 2 weeks before it died. Peice of junk.
