initally 5 star, then 2 Stars, now 1 star - New WARNING !!

I normally use sandisk, but have been tempted to try lexar, on offer much cheaper than the Sandisk equiv. Update, this is first time I have bought lexar and will be the last. The 1 and only card that I have had that has become corrupted, wont formatt in the camera , pictures wont show either in camera or with the card direct into the computer. My computer said that the card is coruppted wait until windows repairs it. Waited , still doesn't work. At £110 not cheap now Aug 18th. Trying to contact lexar next to impossible , they do not list ANY contact details for the UK. managed to find an email adress , so we will see. Now reducing the rating to 1. 5***** to Amazon who refunded as soon as the return was scanned at the post office. WARNING. I have since found out that Lexar was sold to a Chinese company about 2/3 yrs ago and their quality control is non existent. The ex Management of Lexar actually started up a rival company Pro Grade using their own money, now i'm guessing they know more than the general public, especially to invest all their savings in an already crowded marketplace. Dont be fooled by the Lexar name anymore it's just not the same company , just the brand name has been bought

For some reason when I insert this card in the card reader it gets corrupted and all the files disappear. Reading it from connecting the camera to the computer on the other hand works fine. Might be a problem in my card reader.

Large capacity, fast write speeds - great for the price

Great card.I use this for timelapse with a Canon 5DIII. Has always managed to keep up with write speeds, regardless of the interval I'm shooting at. Seller sold an "open box" compact flash card and it was defective. Apparently they got it back for not working and then resold to me! I had to wait 5 days (weekend included) to ask Amazon to step in - seller NEVER responded! 100% feedback seems inaccurate!
