I'm a new golfer and for the first time since starting to play, I had a need to travel with my golf clubs. I set out to find the right bag and was overwhelmed with choices. Initially I thought a fully hard case was the answer but after doing some research realized that was probably unnecessary and the price of some of those cases was more than I wanted to spend. I settled upon this and a completely soft bag and ordered both. When they came in, I quickly realized this was the one that I wanted and returned the other. I love that it can fold up pretty small for storage and the hard top helped resolve my fears of my clubs getting smashed in transit. It worked great for my trip and my clubs arrived safe and sound. I love the extra pockets on the sides and was able to stuff a few things in them as I was only traveling with a carry on so this helped quite a bit. Additionally, there was plenty of room inside for extras as well. I did also purchase a stiff top arm (or whatever those are called) and used it, though in hindsight it was probably unnecessary. The wheels make it easy to lug this thing through the airport, although I do wish they somehow swiveled as right off the bat I dragged the bag outside of my door not realizing I did not have the wheels in the proper position which left some marks on the bottom. Live and learn. I'd highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a travel bag for their clubs.

I bought this hybrid material golf bag for a recent trip to Hilton Head with some friends. I purchased new clubs this year and wanted to spend a little more to get a hard-top bag, but valued the ability to collapse the bag and fold the soft bottom half into the hard top, making storage a breeze. From that standpoint, this bag would be five stars.The bag absolutely held up and I had zero issues in terms of keeping my clubs intact. It seems extremely well padded and the material itself is high quality. It was extremely easy to maneuver around the airport as well. I had a BagBoy extender pole for added integrity but didn’t realistically need it. The additional storage pockets were amazing too and I could have gotten away without a suitcase for a 4-day trip if I really wanted to.The one flaw in functionality is with the carrying strap at the top of the bag. This is the strap on top of the hard case itself where you hold when pulling the bag around the airport. It came off in about 10 seconds. It’s easy enough to work around but is a nuisance. For the value, I will absolutely keep this bag and find another solution for the strap. But it was annoying and worth docking a star because it’s a major function of the bag and how you carry it around.Other than the strap issue, I highly recommend the bag. It seems high quality and I look forward to future use.
