I've been taking these for about a month now and haven't noticed any change in the frequency of my hot flashes. (Probably one per hour...more at night) In the early days of my menopause I was very irritable, anxious and felt stressed at every little thing. These symptoms subsided after about a year (but not, alas, the hot flashes). Since taking these tablets I've noticed a mild return of these symptoms. However, in the spirit of giving these tablets a good try, I'm going to continue for another month to see how it goes. I'm an optimist - a tired, hot, grumpy optimist :)I'm still taking these. Im now on my third month and I do think they've helped some. I still have hot flashes, but while they are not as frequent the ones that I have seem more intense. Thankfully, my moods seem to have settled down again. I don't think that I can 100% recommend them but they are definitely worth giving a try.Four months in and they are definitely helping. Daytime flashes are down to 2-3 a day. Nighttime flashes are less frequent and I'm sleeping much better (if I have a glass of wine in the evening the flashes are as bad as ever :( ). Given how bad my symptoms were before I started taking these I'm a believer. I've upped my rating now from 3 to 4 stars.

UPDATE Dec. 2023 - It's been 10 yrs. that I've been on this supplement, and I will never give it up! It's my fav and has had the best impact on my hormone balance. I'm now 53 and although I still haven't gone an entire year without a period (that's when you're in true menopause) this peri-menopause roller-coaster has been a nightmare. I'm now also using bioidentical progesterone which has been helpful as well. When I had my testing done, my GYN wanted me to stop this supplement for 30 days so that they could get a true reading of my baseline hormone levels. I could not get back on it fast enough. The difference was very noticeable. Bioidentical progesterone is completely safe, but as estrogen levels continue to drop, which wreaks havoc on a woman's body, this supplement is a safe alternative to using estrogen HRT (even bioidentical), especially if you have cancer in your family history as I do. About a week after getting back on it I felt so much better. I'm taking two per day now that menopause is at my doorstep. I cannot highly recommend this product enough, and really any product that Women's Health Network sells. I can't afford to get all the supplements I want from them, but I won't ever give up this one!UPDATE Nov. 2021 - I've now used Herbal Equilibrium for 8 years. I was 43 when I first started taking it for perimenopause symptoms and I was still having regular monthly periods. It was a lifesaver! I've always taken just one a day and that has worked well for me. I did learn that when I felt like it wasn't working anymore that giving my body a break from it about once a year for a couple of months and then returning to it seemed to help "reset" things and it would work well again. I'm now 51 and the change of life is REALLY kicking in. I've had one period in 7 months and I'm noticing that after 8 years it's probably time to now take two a day since my symptoms are increasing. I will give another update in a few months. This product has been tried and true in my life and I have no doubt that taking two a day will work its magic!UPDATE: I've now been taking this supplement for about 4 years, and it continues to work beautifully. I have found that taking an occasional break is needed, usually just 2-3 cycles, and then I can start taking it again. Still my favorite product for hormonal imbalance.2014 - I have been taking this supplement for a year now and I love it. It has done a fantastic job of easing my symptoms of perimenopause and I feel much better using phytotherapy rather than HRT to manage my symptoms, at least for now. It has made this season of my life 80% better to walk through and I never go without it. My cycle had shortened quite a bit (24 days) and after several months on this product they returned to a normal 26-28 days in length. Currently, one pill per day works well for me, but the suggestion on the bottle is two per day. I'm sure as I get closer to actual menopause, I may need to start taking two, but for now one works great.

I’ve been taking this product for menopause symptoms of hot flash. The product works great and I love it! I am however, very disappointed in the Women’s Network loyalty program for continued users. Here’s my complaint - I opted in to the auto refill after receiving several suggestions to do so from the product site on Amazon. The auto- refill program offered a small savings on my purchases....Great! The convenience I expected to receive to help me not have to remember to refill when I suddenly realize I only have a few tablets in my bottle....sounds good. Here’s what’s WRONG with this scenario - month after month my auto-order was CANCELLED due to product unavailable. Really a crappy experience since I rely so much on the product to help me with hot flashes. So, I went on Amazon to see if I could order as a solo order and pay the extra few dollars, fully expecting to have the product on back order. Guess what? The product is miraculously available! 4 months in a row after my auto order was cancelled for no product. I will continue to order the product individually since the auto-refill loyalty program is crap. Don’t waste your time signing up for it, or you’ll be frustrated, and hot and sweaty from hot flashes.

I decided to try this supplement to help relieve symptoms of perimenopause. I felt that I had done enough research and had the results of the quiz to back up my decision. I began taking in August, took one tablet a day so the first bottle lasted 2 months. Near the end of the first bottle started noticing a cough. Really didn't think to consider the correlation as I just figured I was getting a cold. When I started taking the second bottle I was still having a cough, but no real cold like symptoms, I was coughing enough to notice and wondered about allergies or possible other causes. A week or so into the second bottle I became busy and was forgetting to take them everyday. Up until last week I was taking one every other day. No other supplements had changed. I noticed that the day after I took this supplement I was experiencing a deep depression. I felt very low and was having trouble doing my daily routine, like dishes and laundry without feeling a great sense of despair. The days after, with no prior supplement I felt almost normal. It took few days to put it all together, but each day I would take the supplement after a day of not taking it, the depression and despair hit me harder. After stopping this supplement last week I feel normal, not depressed, and not overcome by a sense of despair and the cough has stopped completely with never having developed into a cold.Buyer beware, we all want to feel our best, but we have to be careful when we take supplements.
