Not matte. Make it Matte Black Girl sunscreen is more matte (but a little difficult to spread). More like Loreal UV Defender Fresh Matte spf 50 (which is also not matte). Less oily and less shiney but definitely not matte (for matte, think Beauty of Joseon matte sun stick)

This moisturizing sunscreen is awesome! It's completely matte and non greasy as advertised. It hasn't irritated my skin. Nor has it irritated my eyes, and I use it right under my eyes and on the corners of my eyes where the crows feet are. It has no scent and there is absolutely no white cast. If you have oily skin like me, this is the right product for you. I totally recommend it. You won't be sorry you bought it, I promise.

This La Roche-Posay moisturizer is excellent. It hydrates very well without feeling greasy and helps keep the skin looking matte throughout the day. I use it daily and it has been perfect for my sensitive, oily-prone skin.It absorbs quickly, doesn’t clog pores, and works great under makeup.
