When my Central AC was updated the install came with a April Air filter. I had the ones that needed to be replaced every 3 months (two separate filters at each intake). This one is up in the attic in front of the air handler only has to be replaced once a year. This one has a rating of Merv 13 and cost $59. the other way with 2 air filters was costing me more with changing them every three months. They are easy to install and do an excellent job as it has cut down the amount dust in the house.

This HVAC air filter has been great. It fits perfectly and has lasted much longer than I expected while still keeping the air clean. Even after several weeks, it’s still performing well without restricting airflow.Definitely a great value and I’ll be sticking with this brand for future replacements!

Fit our A/C unit perfectly. These are required by Carrier for our units and the A/C installer said these will certainly not negate any warranty issue with the unit itself. Very easy to install by a homeowner. There is no need to have a tech put these in unless you have access or a personal issue that would prevent you from changing the filters. A high price for what they are made from but your A/C will work as designed and probably allow the units to function as designed for years to come, saving repair costs later on. If these are required by the manufacturer, do not substitute with some inferior brand to save you grief if you have a warranty claim. I was able to change out 3 of these in about 10 minutes total.

While expensive, this filter came exactly as advertised and is OEM, which I like. It appears to be very well made and of high quality. I expect to receive better air quality in my house as a result.
