Meat slicer does the job. It is recommended to use no more than 10 minutes then let machine rest. The slicer is very easy to use and clean up. I do notice the plastic safety pusher does not hold onto meat well. The vegetables I cut without stoping. Things I have cut so far tomatoes, onions, ham, and an eye roast for jerky.So overall as far as home meat slicers go this one is pretty good gets the job done.
