Lights worked as intended. At times they'd lose connection and could be hard to re-pair to the wifi/app.As of 6/18/25 I have been unable to use my lights via my phone or echo. Unable to log in to app, Unable to make a new account, Unable to Reset Password.""Upon searching Sengled on google was the first dropdown. Leading me to a Reddit with 850upvotes and 1.8k comments at the time of this review.No statement has been made from the company, No email, Offical site still up selling product, Amazon sales still up.CHOOSE ANOTHER LIGHT!

These lights are really great and they're super easy to get started with. Just download the Sengled Home app (which allows you to connect the lights to your WiFi). Then from there you'll be able to add them to Google Home, SmartThings, etc. even if you uninstall the app.The app does come with some pretty cool features like a Halloween mode where it switches between orangey colors. It has random color modes and a few other nifty things. Normally I like to uninstall apps I don't particularly need but I decided to keep it because of an amazing feature that I think I'll use all the time now: sunset and sunrise.Set a time and the lights will start dimming to 0% over the desired period of time (5, 10, and 15 minutes) for sunset or going to 50% for sunrise. I'm not sure why sunrise only goes to 50% (I've only just used it this morning), but I like it and it's not too harsh on your eyes in the morning.I also really like how short the delay is between the Sengled Home app and the lights. I usually use SmartThings, but when I use the real app and I change the color or brightness, the light changes pretty much instantly. Most smart lights take a second to update so this is pretty cool.The color range on these is decent and it displays colors pretty brightly. What this means is if you want bright colored lights then that's perfect but if you want a dark mood and want to set the lights to dark purple or something then forget it. You can't even do dark purple with these lights it's more of a purpley white. Dark red is great and dark blue is pretty bright (but pretty dark too so good job). Most RGB lights have issues pulling off a good dark purple, so I won't take away any stars for that. The attached photo shows dark purple at 100% brightness.The ONLY issue I've run into is that curiously some of the lights randomly turn on. I've made sure there weren't any scenes or automations that were telling it to turn on. This morning one of my lights just randomly went full brightness at 2:14am. I hope this is a bug that gets fixed or just a super rare issue. It also happened earlier in the day yesterday so I'm not sure what's going on here. It's only happened twice so I can't say it's bothering me but it did wake me up in the middle of the night and make me think I was supposed to get up.Anyway, I'm very satisfied with this product but please fix this!

Excellent brightness and easy to set up

I tried the earlier version of these which are 60w and have transitioned smoothly to the dual band functionality of my wifi. Iove how they are regular shape bulbs and synced up right away to wifi and to google home. Also as easy to remove, reset or make any changes. Auto upgraded the firmware as soon as installed, nothing bad to say about them!

Beautiful Lighting, Dimming, and Colour on Demand

These bulbs are a lovely addition to my home.They integrate very easily with Alexa.I am especially pleased with dimming and colour capabilities.Sometimes, I just use blue instead of dimming; it adds a mystical mood to the room.I use a bulb in the bedroom, so I can tuck myself into bed and simply say, Alexa, Night Light Off."This use of the bulb with Alexa really adds a safety element when turning off lights for the night.This bulb offers a lot of convenience to a home. I highly recommend it.

So, I'm usually not one to leave a product review because positive reviews after hours, days, or weeks of using a product is deceptive. But now, having these since 2021, I can confidently say I really can not recommend this product.PROS:1. They did work great at first.They are light bulbs. Its hard to go wrong as long as they... light...... right?...2. Set up, although with poor instructions, wasn't rocket science.Cons:1. The set-up instructions are extremely poor.2. They require you to download and set them up in a separate app (their personal app) before you can connect them to your Alexa or Google.3. They are not reliable . I own six bulbs, and sometimes one or two of them would suddenly become unreachable on my network (more on this later). I could still operate my light switch manually, but that defeats the purpose of this bulb. I would just have to wait until they magically started working again. I wasted time resetting them and try ing to reconnect, to no avail.4. Customer service is non-existent (oh we are about to get into it now!)Now we get into the REAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN5... Because they do not use a hub (e.g zigbee), they must maintain connection to sengled's servers to operate. This is where we have a combination of ALL the above cons baked into one big THIS SUCK donut. This is not explained or specified ANYWHERE in their literature, app, etc. Their servers have been unreliable, hence the random disconnection from the network. Over the last few months, they have had outages spanning weeks..... with ABSOLUTELY ZERO INFORMATION, APOLOGY, OR NOTIFICATION FROM SENGLED.There is no customer service to assist you. Nothing you can do but wait. Two of my bulbs are stuck at 10% brightness because the outage happened while they were dimmed. Can I reset the bulbs manually (done by flicking the light switch a few times) and hope they go back to default brightness... sure. Will I? No because the server is still down with no eta of restoration or notice from Sengled.... again. I am just done with them as a company at this point and can not recommend anything from them at all.
