Visually these appeared to be identical replacements and even came with a nice little bonus cleaning brush. My Dewalt brand replacements never came with a cleaning brush and I found it very useful when emptying the vacuum to wipe out the grooves of the filter. I am sure I will end up losing the brush before I change the filter, but that's my own fault. My wife tried to install a new filter and couldn't get it to click into place on our Dewalt DCV501. I was asked to look at it and it is a much tighter fit than the OE filter. So much so that the filter wanted to twist and I was afraid I was going to break it. Make sure you grab it at the base when installing and removing the filter or you may damage it. If you grab it at the base it will eventually click into place. Once installed it worked as expected. Seemed to perform just like the Dewalt brand. My only gripe is that the construction of the filter and the fitment could be better. However it is a disposable item and I was happy with its performance.

Grabbed this 4-pack of DCV501HB filters for my 20V handheld vacuum, and they’ve been great so far. These fit perfectly and do a solid job keeping dust and fine debris from blowing back into the air. Works flawlessly with both the DCV501HB and DCV5011H models. Snaps in just like the OEM filter and fits snuggly. Traps the fine stuff like; dust, allergens, and even drywall powder. Great if you’ve got allergies or just want a cleaner workspace.Huge bonus. Rinse them out, let them dry, and they’re good to go again. Way more cost-effective than tossing filters after every few uses. The material feels sturdy, not flimsy. No issues with seams or warping even after a couple of wash cycles. Let them fully air dry before reinstalling (overnight is usually safe). Rotate through the set so you always have a clean one ready to go.These filters are a great value if you use your Dewalt vac regularly. They help maintain suction and trap fine dust like a champ. Definitely worth grabbing a multi-pack to keep things running smooth always. Even has a little brush to clean the crevices in the filter.
