Ambir Scan Image scan Pro 340I am familiar with the workings of Ambir scan products. I currently have an older model that natively did not work with my Apple iMac. This Imagescan Pro model works on Windows versions 7,8,10 and 11 and Mac products.Right from the start these 340 models have a much smaller footprint only 12X9x9 inches. It packs into that frame super speed scanning at 40 pages per minute with a paper feeder that has a capacity of 100 sheets. You can Scan legal, letter, Color or B&W documents, business cars and store receipts all at a resolution of 600DPI. In addition, you can scan plastic cards at 1.2 MM thickness.Like other desktop top feed scanners jams happen. This 340 model uses ultrasonic detectors to identify page orientation and position and alert you before a jam happens. The scanner in 1 pass captures both sides of the pages straight to a PDF file that you can set up to save documents in your favorite locationThe device features an LED display that let you choose from 9 different scanning modes. These setups allow adjustments and control over the following, PDF Scan, File Utility, FTP and Copy and Email utility, The adjustments include Preview mode, Device resolution, Folder naming and destination, Greyscale & black and white adjustments plus the option to remove any blank page that gets scanned. I am using the device in Setting 1 with the Resolution slider turned up all the way, for all my scanning.The device uses a USB cable included, assembly of the 1-piece top paper feed is quick and easy to install.
