This is heavier than I expected, so it feels like the body will stand the test of time. The filters are a bit flimsy so you need to be mindful to not bend them. The collar that holds them in place sometimes slips off, so it really needs to be on properly. Operationally this is rather simple, but the instructions could be better as the font is about 6 pt. The on/off button is sound, but the outer ring that changes the light intensity is a bit loose. Could be by design, might be problematic in the future. The included tripod is helpful, but really only good for a table-top shooting scenario. The thread does work on my other stands and tripods.My ratings scale:1 star = WHY?
