This 40x60 monocular telescope by Pankoo is a great buy and of great quality. It’s very comfortable to hold and it’s a perfect size to fit in jacket pocket or small bag. It’s very easy to use and the magnification is awesome with phone. I’m impressed with it and would recommend.

Monocular has a 52mm lens so a good field of view.16 power seems to be sufficient for most situations.The grip to focus on a object is ok.There is as focus scale label on the unit states from 1.5 to infinity.Helpful when first used to know what direction to turn to focus.However there is no mark on the adjusting ring to align the ring with the scale.It also has an eye adjustment if one eye strength is different from the other eye.It is lightweight. but a little larger than I thought when considering for backpacking use but the included case has a belt loop so no problem.At this price point the monocular is fine for quick viewing for birding and hiking

Excellent telescope. I found it very easy to use and was just the right size to carry for hikes. I used it in Costa Rica and found it was wonderful for spotting all the birds and sloths in the trees. The tripod was easy to set up and really sturdy. Would highly recommend

This was purchased as a gift for our 14 year old son who spends a lot of time outdoors biking and hiking. It has proven to be a perfect entry level telescope for his needs. It easily fits in a pocket, and is lightweight. Great for backyard birding or scenic overlooks.

The scope itself is pretty decent. However, the phone adapter and stand is super chintzy. On very second attempt to put my iphone promax, the contraption fell apart… springs and all. What a bummer. Quality is rely poor. It could be the piece I got. If so, I look forward to see what manufacturer has to say

The product was very small and well made. I was able to see small details in the distance such as leaf detail and birds in the trees. I am excited to take it kayaking and see how it performs.For the price, I would recommend this product to others.

careful : the 40x zoom is with the phone zoom. light, easy to use.

The good : easy to use, the focus adjustment on top is easy to use, as is the occular one. the lens is light. we can easily find the birds, even flight. the occular is large which make it comfortable and clear.the bad : The item description and pictures are misleading. The 40X zoom can only be reached if you use the phone zoom. otherwise, it is more 8 or 10x. also, be sure to use the zoom lens. the "main" lens on the phones will not be "tight" enough and will produce pictures with a vignette (the black border around the circle image). the use of a tripod is a must for clear picture at the zoom factor, so forget pictures of birds or planes in flight. The phone adaptor isn't easy to install and remove. it requires a lot of adjustment. once installed, make sure you hold both the lens and the phone. the only thing keeping the 2 together is the friction on the holder and the occular.I've read some comments about other monocular that are the same for cheaper. while there might be some that. are the same, many are just looking the same. I ordered some (so I don't have to share) that had all the same marketing materials, but not of same the brand. the focus adjustment wasnt usable, the occular was smaller. make sure you can return those before ordering.in the end, I am quite satisfied with this, but I would not pay 80$ CAD for it. Get it when it is on sale or with a discount coupon. (50-60$ CAD is a balanced price)
