The screen is a huge upgrade. I switched from a V860III to 2 of these and they are so much more convenient. The battery life is also longer and uses it much more efficiently

Bought this for Panasonic S5. Seems like all functions work. Slides in and out of the shoe smoothly, no issues. The ring is orange but they did include a metallic black ring (Thanks!) that I will swap out. Diffuser ordered.Update: I think one of the functions that it lacks when paired with the S5 is the zoom function, it's supposed to zoom up to 52mm, when I zoom out with my 20-60 lens to 52, the internal flash zoom doesn't zoom out as far, because if you hit the manual zoom 52mm on the flash screen it zooms out fully. Thats probably one or maybe one of the features that doesn't pair well with an "incompatible" camera, but it doesn't matter to me, I bought this to take family pics and if needed I can manually zoom.Also, get the diffuser done cap! Makes a huge difference! I wish I bought this type of flash as soon as I bought the camera couple of years ago!

What an awesome flash for my Nikon D 500. It's far better than my old V1 which I sold for $100 to a used equipment dealer. IDK about any other brand of camera but TTL has never worked so perfectly before. If you are hesitant about upgrading don't be. It's just that good.
