This unit is aesthetically pleasing, it sounds really good, and for mac users, it works with mac osx sequoia unlike the Auris blume pro (at least at this time, August of 2025, hopefully they fix that issue). It can also be connected to two devices simultaneously. You can't play audio from both devices at the same time, but if you pause your music on one device, you can just hit play on the other device and it will work, saving you from having to disconnect and re-connect to switch between devices. This is extremely convenient.As with all of these types of units, you will notice a difference playing music through the LDAC codec on an android or windows device, compared to AAC from an apple device. AAC does not sound bad, it is still very good. But If you want the absolute best quality from this unit feed it through something that can use LDAC. With LDAC it is nearly indistinguishable from a wired connection.Wired I've been using a dragonfly cobalt for a long time and it is my reference point. I'd say the bludento B2 sounds very similar clean and detailed, though the ESS chip in the B2 is a little older than what's in the dragonfly, specs are very close and honestly most people won't notice the difference.I'm honestly not sure that you can really get better sound via bluetooth than this. I think anybody would be happy with this unit.

I bought this to connect my iPhone to my hifi which has been siting gathering cobwebs as I can't be bothered to locate CDs and deal with the hassle of inserting and pressing play :). I also bought a somewhat cheaper wireless DAC from a different, let's say Chinese, source. There was no comparison in terms of sound quality. The BlueDento B2 aptX HD LDAC sound quality is excellent; connectivity is easy and it works from far away 30 ft plus. No need for a remote to change songs or adjust volume. For comparison, I switched to cable and the sounds quality with the DAC was better than direct cable to AUX input via RCA. I was hesitant about paying this much but it's absolutely worth it.

This is an amazing value for the money. I wanted to use my old receiver from the early 90s for music on our main level after moving our theater system to the newly remodeled lower level.This great bluetooth receiver allows anyone to connect their phones easily to play their music apps. The sound is outstanding. No added noise that I can detect. It is really easy to setup and has multiple connection choices. I am using the RCA jacks since my receiver is too old to have optical input.I will be buying another one to add to my antique console I have from my grandparents. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and will get a new life with this update.

I like most about this is that i didnt lose connection from my iphone when switching songs. This is an issue I found with some other ones I have tried. The screen is white, not blue like pictured and while that may seem trivial I was excited to have the blue screen to match my Marantz blue lights, I don't understand the misleading pictures. This uses an older TI PCM5102A DAC with 112db dynamic range and 24 bit audio, which is great and all but not for the 140 price tag. There are a couple different offerings for same price and less price using DUAL ES9038Q2M DAC with 128db dynamic range and 32 bit audio. Now depending on your audio system or headphones and/or ears, you may not be able to tell a difference. I am fortunate enough to have a setup that can and my ears are still doing well. So I cant justify spending more for less so this one went back to amazon.

If u are using regular blutooth codec sbc, you are missing out. This improved the sound quality 100%! Your phone supports better codecs you find out when the box links up and options on your phone pop up most people dont even know they have.. great product. This will make a big difference on high quality audio systems. You only get out what u put in!
